Cafeteria
The UMC Café is located at the front entrance of the facility. Hours of Operation are Monday – Friday, Breakfast - 7 AM until 9:30 AM; Lunch - 11 AM until 1:30 PM; Dinner - 5:30 PM until 6:30 PM; Weekends-Lunch Only, 11AM until 1:00 PM.
Vending Machines
Vending machines are located inside the cafeteria’s dining area ,the waiting room on 2W, and on the ground floor by the elevator below 2W. These are accessible 24 hours a day for your convenience.
Smoking Policy
University Medical Center is a nonsmoking facility. Smoking is not allowed at any location inside the facility. A designated smoking area is located behind the hospital. Smoking in doorways and walkways near the hospital is prohibited.
Newspapers
The Lebanon Democrat and The Wilson Post are donated to our patients Monday through Friday. The UMC Volunteers will deliver patient papers each morning.
Gifts for Patients
Visitors should check with the nurse before bringing gifts of food or drink to patients. Please check with the nurse to make sure your gift is appropriate. Patients in the Intensive Care Unit are restricted from receiving gifts.
Gift Shop
The University Medical Center Gift Shop is located directly across from the cafeteria. Hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Saturday, 9:00 AM – 12 Noon. The shop has gift items, jewelry, magazines, greeting cards, candy, toiletries, flowers and plants. The Gift Shop phone number is 453-8224.
Parking
Free parking for patients and visitors is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Lebanon City Police Department and UMC Security patrol all parking areas. Patients and visitors are cautioned not to park in reserved areas or certain designated areas. UMC does not assume responsibility for vehicles parked on the premises. Any accidents or criminal activity should be reported to Security and the Lebanon City Police Department.
Waiting Areas
There are specially designated lounge areas for visitors throughout the hospital. Specific waiting areas have been designated for families of patients in the Outpatient Center, the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit and Surgery. During certain hours, a volunteer hostess is on duty in the ICU/Surgery Waiting Room to keep family members informed about the progress of surgery.
